Through our Tree of Life program, the memory of a departed loved one can live on through a donation to help fund our vital animal rescue programs. With a donation of any amount (minimum donation of $5), we’ll mail a.personalized sympathy card to the person you designate.
With your donation of $100 or more, you can make your memorial tribute even more meaningful. Along with sending your personalized sympathy card, your loved ones name will be engraved on a gold leaf and placed on the Tree of Life in the lobby at Save-A-Pet.

On September 1, 2000, Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center opened its doors in Port Jefferson Station, New York. In order to continually improve the shelter, we began building a beautiful walkway and garden named after our favorite Neapolitan Mastiff, “Waldo”. Waldo was rescued from a cruel life and this Walk of Hope is dedicated in his honor. It signifies the hope that we all share, that all animals will be adopted into loving homes.
You can be part of the Walk of Hope by purchasing a personalized brick in support of Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center. The bricks will be installed as part of our a permanent walking path entrance to our center.
All donations are tax-deductible and will be used to help support the Center and its programs.
